The challenge of this project was to develop a collectible stamp series promoting a national or international event or holiday and take inspiration from a well known graphic designer.
Inspired by the Bulgarian 113th annual celebration of the Kazanlak Rose Festival, I chose to pull from traditional imagery from the festivals past, rose themes and color palette. The drop caps where inspired by Jessica Hiche’s Daily Drop Cap series.
